24-year-old Cuban accused of multiple robberies, driving without a license and fleeing after two accidents in Miami-Dade

A 24-year-old Cuban was arrested and charged with multiple crimes including several car thefts, driving without a license and fleeing after two accidents in Miami-Dade.

Jhon Danel Torres-Carbonell He faces a total of ten charges in four different cases: two pending felony auto theft cases (occurring in November 2023), and two new cases.

The young man was arrested on Friday and appeared twice in county court the next day, where he was assisted by a translator.

The first hearing was to face two counts of leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, one count of reckless driving and one count of driving without a license.

His second appearance was for more serious crimes: grand theft, grand theft of a vehicle, resisting an officer without violence, armed robbery of an unoccupied conveyance and grand theft of a firearm.

Local 10 He had access to court records, which indicate that the Prosecutor's Office filed charges against him on November 17 and 30 for the two cases of serious car theft crimes. The new charges stem from those incidents.
