"I don't talk about what I don't know": Jorge Junior answers a question about the dictatorship in Cuba

The reggaeton singer spoke about several topics, among which the political situation in Cuba stood out.

The Cuban reggaeton playerJorge Junior, director of the group Los 4, offered an interview with the Cuban youtuber Papel Encara, in which he touched on several topics such as his new professional projects, his family on the island, and even about his thoughts towards the dictatorship to which the country is subjected. .

Asked about several controversies in which he has been involved, especially the criticism leveled at him for his relationship with the Cuban regime, he expressed that “his defense is one and it is the truth.”

He affirmed that in his 18 years of artistic career he has not been able to demonstrate any link with the leaders of Cuba. “I know who I am and where I am going,” were his words.

However, when asked if there was a dictatorship in Cuba, the reggaeton player was incongruous. At first, it focuses on defining what a dictatorship is, and then enters into divergences that did not establish a clear position. Finally he ends by saying that he does not talk about what he does not know and escapes warning about the crisis that is currently being experienced on the island.

“What I know is that in Cuba the game is tight and I'm not afraid to say it in the corner... What I do know is that there are many errors, there are many things that are not well done and well thought out by the government that are affecting the people,” said Jorge Junior.

It is not the first time that the singer does not define his position before public opinion. In an interview with the unknown character of the Cuban virtual community Un Martí To' Durako, he was unaware of the concept of dictatorship and could not say if there was one in Cuba, despite recognizing that "there are many things wrong."

"I don't know what name to give it, because I don't talk about what I don't know. I wouldn't know how to answer you well. I know that there are many things that are not right, that they have to be fixed, but I don't want to tell you 'this is it', without know what I'm saying," Jorge Junior responded to the question "do you believe that Cuba is a dictatorship?"

"Yes, they raised the price of electricity, but well, in my case, I work, there is no problem, but what you are paying me is not in line with what I am consuming and it can cause problems for me and many artists , and that has to be fixed," he added.

The so-called “million dollar question” has been evaded by several artists who maintain interests with the island, among which are avoiding censorship.
