Cubans protest in Bayamo and the regime mobilizes special forces

The regime deployed its black wasps amid massive protests in Granma and Santiago de Cuba.


Dozens of Cubans took to the streets in Bayamo, Granma, while the regime mobilized its Special Forces (Black Wasps) and ordered the closure of several streets.

Journalist Mario J Pentón published images of the city with a military presence and stated that the internet service was still affected.

"The connection in Bayamo is very slow. Now the regime sends a truck full of "Black Wasps" to scare the people," he explained.

A resident in Bayamo said that "the government is controlling the historic center" with its military.

In a video posted on X, dozens of people are seen in the city center, and a woman who claims "they are closing the streets."

This Sunday, massive protests in Santiago de Cuba, shouting "We are hungry", "Food and Current", "We don't want teeth" and "Homeland and Life".

Since the afternoon hours of this Sunday, there have been central Avenida de Carretera del Morro and 9th Street of Veguita de Galo, in the main city, anti-government protests.
