In recent hours there have been severefloods in some municipalities of Havana, mainly in Diez de Octubre, Cerro and San Miguel del Padrón, due to the strong storm that affected the capital and other western provinces since Friday afternoon.

Especially impressive is a video circulating online that shows serious flooding in San Miguel del Padrón, in the vicinity of the Virgen del Camino.

The Luyanó River, in the Diez de Octubre municipality, left its channel and does not allow transit along Vía Blanca, as confirmed on Facebook by official journalist Lázaro Manuel Alonso.

Added to the flooding associated with heavy rains is the hail fall recorded in the capital itself and in other western provinces such as Artemisa.
