Alert issued for disappearance of 13-year-old Cuban girl with intellectual disabilities in Havana

The girl was last seen on Saturday, March 30, in the La Palma neighborhood, Arroyo Naranjo municipality.

Cuban feminist organizations issued an alert this Friday about thedisappearance of a 13-year-old girl with a mild intellectual disability in Havana.

The gender observatory of the magazine Alas Tensas reported on its networks about the case ofAnalia Leyanet Carmona Pérez, who is foundabsent from home since last Saturday, March 30.

This week the journalistMarta Maria Ramirez asked inFacebook thecollaboration of citizens to find the teenager.

Analia has dark brown hair, black eyes and is 1.70 meters tall.

She was last seen in the La Palma neighborhood, Arroyo Naranjo municipality, and was wearing a red dress, white tennis shoes and a beige purse.

"Analia has been reported missing by her mother on three previous occasions. We ask people to focus on the search for this girlCuban woman who has the right to be searched and found by the authorities, who fail in their mandate to ensure her safety by neglecting the causes," he said.

Anyone with information can call the numbers: 63720615 (girl's mother), 63722511 (aunt) and 76102109 (minor's house).

The mother of the minor, identified on social networks as "Osmaray La Mulatica", assured in the publication that the girl does not run away from her home. "I am her mother and I live for her, it is my life."

It was Osmaray who first reported the disappearance of his daughter inFacebook, last April 1st.

"I need the great help of all of you again, please, it's me alone looking for her along with the Police, but I need the great help of you," he pleaded.

"If you see her again, please call this number: 63720615. I am her mother, you can call me at any time. She left on Saturday afternoon and has not returned home," he said.
