Residents in Santiago de Cuba arrested and tied up a thief in the middle of the street and kept him neutralized until the Police arrived.
According to the independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada, the event occurred on Escario Street, between Pizarro and Hernán Cortés.
"The people captured him and tied him to the railing of a house, until the patrol car and a police officer who was in the area arrived," he said on his wall. Facebook.
A video of the event allows us to see the suspect tied to the fence of a house, saying over and over that he had done nothing.
Although an officer was already on the scene, people shouted at him not to let the thief go, fearing he would escape. Later in the recording, another agent is seen at the scene, who handcuffed the man while those present applauded with satisfaction.
Witnesses said that the Subject snatched a cell phone from a woman in the vicinity of Plaza de Marte and the headquarters of the Provincial Party, which is nearby.
"If anyone recognizes this man, please tell me his name and what division he is from," Mayeta Labrada asked.
The photos shared in the post allow us to see when the thief was put in a patrol car.
