Spanish woman lists problems of being with a Latino: "They put rice on absolutely everything"

A young Spanish woman goes viral on TikTok by humorously sharing the cultural differences she has experienced when being with her Latin partner, from spontaneous dances to the ubiquitous rice.

A young Spanish woman, whose partner is Venezuelan, has told in two TikTok videos the problems she sees when being with a Latin person, going viral with almost 2 million views each audiovisual.

The young woman's name is Natalia Jiménez (@natjim) and her videos listing the fun and peculiar cultural differences that she has noticed when having a Latin partner have become a trend on the TikTok platform, where hundreds of Latinos have reacted to the customs that she has identified.

The first problem you have listed is the issue of dancing. "You have to know how to dance. They dance all the time, at family meals or on the street. Advice if you want to be with someone Latin: learn to dance", begins by recommending Natalia to followers who intend to have a partner from Latin America.

"You have to have a lot of communication skills. When you go to meet his family, there won't be five or six people, there will be 40 or 50 people together," he adds."If you don't like rice, you're starting to like it. They put rice in absolutely everything", he says in the viral video.

After the success of this video, the young woman has made a second part, listing more difficulties that people of other nationalities may have."He's going to call all the girls by a pet name.", he starts saying in the second clip. "There is not one type of banana. They have 27 types of bananas. Ripe banana, plantain, green banana...", he added.

"The rice thing is like something obligatory", "I'm Latina and I confirm everything but the truth is that I don't see it as a problem", "In life, if you don't dance you don't eat, so some of us learned out of necessity", "Well my Latin couple stays seated while I dance. And there is no way to get her to dance. Of course, rice even for dessert", "Latin American who respects himself, dances with everything and at all times" or"The rice thing is true. It goes with everything and is even eaten for breakfast", are some of the comments they left him.
