Little Havana was the scene of a large police deployment in Miami this Sunday, which ended with the arrest of a man, accused of breaking into his girlfriend's house.
The police operation included the participation of canine units, several patrol cars and even a helicopter that monitored the area for several hours.
The man was arrested after breaking into the house where his girlfriend resides with a baby, in an apartment complex located at the intersection of Southwest 2nd Street and 19th Avenue, in Little Havana.
The events began when the woman alerted the Miami police because her partner had entered the home without her consent.
The individual, whose identity has not been revealed, escaped from the scene before authorities arrived, triggering an intense search in the area that lasted several hours.
During the operation, the tranquility of the neighborhood was severely affected. Many residents were unable to return to their homes, and the atmosphere of tension was palpable in the air.
The altercation left no one injured. The suspect was captured without major incidents. However, Miami police continue to investigate the details of the case to clarify the motives behind the raid.
