Although short, Colás' career promised to place him at the top of the national sport, according to the site Swing Completo.

He debuted in Cuban baseball in 2019, during the 59th National Series. He participated in 24 games with the Avispas de Santiago de Cuba and batted just .161. Five hits, including a double, was his offensive production, driving in two runs and scoring six.

Then, he rejoined the indomitable squad in series 61 and 62, mostly as a shortstop defender and substitute running back. He added his first career triple in 2023, before leaving the team due to illness.

In summary, during three seasons, Colás had an average of .191 (94-18), with three doubles and a triple as extra-base hits. He drove in six runs and scored 20, leaving a defensive average of .903, with 14 errors in 144 pitches.

He wore the number 13 on his uniform with the Santiago de Cuba Wasps.
