The Cuban regime gave the green light to the Japanese company Mitsubishi for the manufacturing and marketing on the island of finished products for different sectors of industry and the economy, including food.
A resolution published in the official Gazette informs that the registration of the representative office of the Japanese company is authorized Mitsubishi Corporation in the National Registry of Foreign Commercial Representations, attached to the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba.
It details that the commercial line of the representation is the manufacturing and marketing of finished products for different sectors of the industry and the economy, including foods, beverages, various raw materials, equipment, equipment, accessories, various parts and pieces.
In addition, it is authorized to function as intermediaries for export and import activities.
Since 2016, Mitsubishi has tried to position itself on the Caribbean island, mired in a serious general crisis. That year, several media outlets claimed that commercial houses from Japan had serious intentions of positioning themselves in Cuba.
Japan's largest company, Mitsubishi Corp., then opened an office in Havana.
