Cuban makes an attempt on his life by throwing himself in front of a truck

A Cuban was hospitalized this Monday after an incident with a transport truck that was traveling on a road near the Calabazar bridge, in Havana.

A video shared by the user Luis Lafargue in the Facebook group “BUS & TRUCK ACCIDENTS for more experience and fewer victims!”, reports on the incident and several people amazed at having witnessed the act.

According to sources, the affected man, of whom no further details were given, was taken to the nearest hospital.

At the scene of the accident there were police officers guarding the place.

Users commented on the publication placing emphasis on the protection of the driver, because if he was not responsible for the accident he should not bear the blame for what happens to the man, were some of the statements presented.

“Poor man, God forbid he doesn't die, and the truck driver must be distraught,” were the words of a user.

Another user wondered: “How much suffering will he be going through to make that decision?”

Recently, although under different conditions, Cuban political prisoner Fray Claro Valladares made an attempt on his life in a prison in Camagüey, after learning of the sentences imposed by the regime for the peaceful protests in the municipality of Nuevitas that occurred in August 2022.

“Fray, 22 years old, was unjustly sentenced to 10 years of deprivation of liberty, that was the reason that led him to make an attempt on his life,” Cuban activist Marcel Valdés mentioned on Facebook.
