New details revealed about Chocolate's arrest in Miami

The complaint was filed by the affected young woman and the security videos corroborated her statements.

New details about the arrest of Cuban reggaeton artist Chocolate MC came to light this Monday afternoon, according to information from Local 10 News.

The musician, whose mug shot was shared this weekend by the influencer known as Un Martí To Durako, is accused of "sexual assault without serious injuries, kidnapping, possession of firearms, aggravated assault and robbery by sudden snatch."

However, the new details provide that Chocolate was arrested Friday after kidnapping his ex-girlfriend outside an apartment building and then driving her to Palm Beach County., where he committed actions that are now the subject of legal proceedings, authorities said.

According to the arrest warrant against him, The events occurred on March 31, when Chocolate intercepted his ex-girlfriend and a friend in a gray Honda Passport, after both women had just gotten out of an Uber in the 1700 block of 27th Avenue in southwest Miami.

The police also reported that Chocolate, stage name of Yosvanis Sierra Hernandez, 33, committed several acts against the victims, including forcing his ex-girlfriend into his car.

That journey was broadcast live by the reggaeton artist through his Instagram account, with the aim of making fun of the girl's current boyfriend.

After these acts he drove the young woman to Ora Ulta Cabaret in West Palm Beach and there Chocolate picked up his current girlfriend, the police report stated.

The version also includes that The victim made the report to an officer who was found on the road, then was picked up by a Miami police detective and taken to the Roxcy Bolton Rape Treatment Center..

According to the warrant, detectives reviewed surveillance video that validated the victim's statements about the kidnapping.
