Daniela Reyes returns to Cuba and is greeted by a 10-hour blackout: "It is very sad what is being experienced."

Although Daniela found 10 hours without electricity to be a lot, in the last week, internet users from several provinces have reported power outages of more than 15 hours on social media.

Daniela Reyes is back in Cuba, and upon her arrival, she was greeted by a 10-hour blackout as a reminder that she would not be able to rest easy after a night in the airport.

"I arrived in Cuba and my welcome was a 10-hour blackout, wonderful, luckily it was lifted at eight in the morning and I arrived here around 10:30," the influencer told her followers on Instagram.

"It is very sad what is happening in my country," she added along with several emojis of a broken heart.

Even though Daniela found 10 hours without electricity to be a lot, in the last week, internet users from several provinces have reported power outages of over 15 hours on social media.

The truth is that the situation on the island is becoming increasingly unbearable amid constant blackouts, fuel shortages, all kinds of scarcities, and inflation that grows by the day.

Daniela recently said she will be living between Cuba and Cancun, but it would not be surprising if she decided, like many Cubans, to permanently reside outside the island.
