"It is an honor to collaborate with you": Olga Tañón speaks about her song with Leoni Torres

"I am sure that 'Sigo Siendo Tuya' will touch hearts and many will see themselves reflected in its message and lyrics," added the Puerto Rican artist.

There are only a few days left until the premiere of Leoni Torres' first collaboration with Olga Tañón, "Sigo Siendo Tuya," which will be part of the Puerto Rican artist's new studio album.

Regarding the single, which will be released on May 31 when the album premieres - and which can already be pre-saved - the Cuban singer and songwriter addressed this in a video shared by Mujer de Fuego on their social media.

"The song addresses the struggle to move on from a past relationship, the nostalgia for the moments lived, and the determination to persevere despite the pain, using music and dance as forms of healing," Torres said about the single, which Olga is convinced will "touch hearts, and many will find themselves reflected in its message and lyrics."

On social media, both performers exchanged compliments and messages of respect for each other once again.

"A huge thank you to Leoni Torres. It's an honor to collaborate with you," she said while sharing the release date.

"It's a blessing to be able to join my voice with yours in this spectacular production," she replied earlier.

In February, after sharing two photos together on social media, Leoni Torres asked his followers if they were ready to hear about their collaboration, without providing further details about the joint project they were working on or when it would be revealed.

Shortly after, La Tañón couldn't help but comment on a video of the Cuban's performance at the Flamingo.

"When true singers perform, it's a gift for the ears," at the moment when Leoni sings his piece "Soledad."

So far, neither of them has provided a preview of the single, which the respective fans of the artists will be able to listen to in full in less than two weeks.

However, "Sigo Siendo Tuya" is not the only song featuring a Cuban artist on Olga Tañón's album Así soy yo; there is also "No sé quien soy yo," featuring Lenier Mesa, who has also composed other tracks on the album.
