"It is an honor to collaborate with you": Olga Tañón talks about her song with Leoni Torres

"I am sure that 'I Still Belong to You' will touch hearts and many will feel reflected in its message and lyrics," added the Puerto Rican artist.

There are only a few days left until the premiere of the first collaboration between Leoni Torres and Olga Tañón, "Sigo Siendo Tuya," which will be part of the new studio album by the Puerto Rican artist.

Regarding the single, which will be released on May 31st when the album premieres - which you can already pre-order - the Cuban singer and songwriter referred to it in a video shared by the Woman of Fire on her social media.

"The theme deals with the struggle to overcome a past relationship, the nostalgia for the moments that were lived, and the determination to move forward despite the pain, taking music and dance as forms of healing," said Torres about the single, that Olga is convinced will "touch hearts and many will feel reflected in its message and lyrics."

On social media, both performers once again exchanged mutual compliments and messages of respect.

"A huge thank you to Leoni Torres. It is an honor to collaborate with you," she said when sharing the release date.

"It is a blessing to be able to join my voice with yours in this spectacular production," he replied earlier.

Last February, after sharing two photos together on social media, Leoni Torres asked his followers if they were ready to hear their collaboration, without giving more details about the joint project they were working on or when it would be released.

Shortly after, La Tañón could not resist commenting on a video of the Cuban's performance at the Flamingo.

When the true singers sing, it is a gift for the ears when Leoni performs her song "Soledad."

At the moment, neither of the two has given an advance of the single, which the respective fans of the artists will be able to listen to in full in less than two weeks.

But "Sigo Siendo Tuya" is not the only song featuring a Cuban artist on Olga Tañón's album Así soy yo, as there is also "No sé quien soy yo," featuring Lenier Mesa - who has also composed other songs on the album.
