A woman from Cuba and another from Uruguay shared a fun video on social media in which the Uruguayan says some words and the Cuban repeats them, demonstrating how Spanish varies in their respective countries.
New words learned in Uruguay and translated into Cuban Spanish. What would "ñeri" be in Cuba? Yisley Hernández pointed out in the video shared on Facebook.
Among the long list of words used in Uruguay and their equivalents in Cuba, they mentioned words like ranchero (pepillo), guacho (guajiro), petizo (pequeño), chorro (delincuente), pichi (indigente), and morocho (mulato).
They also mentioned neat (clean), perspire (sweat), jumpsuit (overalls), T-shirt (sweater), and tank top (tank top).
The video of these two women ended with laughter and asking a question: "What would a 'ñeri' be in Cuba?"
Recently, a Cuban couple shared a humorous video that has gone viral, in which a man publicly apologizes to his wife.
The video starring Gabriel and Dili, who are known virtually as impactcouple, has over 6 million views on Instagram.
In the video, the couple appears in a car while he apologizes to her for all the things he did wrong in the last few hours, such as not covering her while she was sleeping or being unfaithful to her in dreams.
A comedic scene with which more than one couple has found themselves identified, judging by the comments that are read alongside the video.
