Four people were injured in a traffic accident that occurred on Thursday night in Sancti Spiritus.
The local telecenter CentroVisión Yayabo revealed that the event took place on Central Road, in front of the Psychiatric Hospital, without providing further details.
The four injured individuals were transferred to the Camilo Cienfuegos provincial hospital in the province of Sancti Spiritus.
Everyone has minor injuries, as reported by the healthcare center on its Facebook profile.
The day before, an accident occurred in the same province, specifically in the town of Iguará, Yaguajay municipality, where the driver of a truck carrying 25 workers from the Provincial Company of Road Maintenance and Construction of the People's Power (ViaMAC) lost control of the vehicle.
Out of the 25 passengers, 10 were injured, two of them seriously. Five were taken to the Camilo Cienfuegos Provincial Hospital and the remaining to the Joaquín Paneca Consuegra Municipal Teaching Hospital in Yaguajay.
The workers, natives of the municipalities of Sancti Spiritus and Taguasco, were heading to perform tasks related to the cleaning of green areas.
