A young person from Miami sends a message to Cubans who have just arrived, saying, "they put their phones on speaker wherever they are".

"You are the only ones who do that..."

In a recent TikTok video, a young woman expressed her dissatisfaction with the behavior of some recently arrived Cubans in Miami over the last five years.

This is for Cubans who have just arrived, from now until... let's say about 5 years. I have always lived in Miami, born in Miami, and I have never seen all these young people now coming to the U.S., putting their phones on speaker wherever they go," she began saying in the video uploaded to her profile a few hours ago.

In her message, the young woman highlighted everyday situations in which she has observed this behavior: "They are in a restaurant, they are at Publix, at Sedano, at Tropicana. I don't know, wherever you are, you are on speakerphone. Sir, we already know that you are here, showing off to everyone on WhatsApp."

Visibly frustrated, she continued: "I don't want to know the conversation you are having, have the private conversation. You are the only ones who do that, or I don't know why, I don't know."

The publication has sparked a series of reactions, from those who support the criticism by considering these behaviors inappropriate in public places, to those who defend the newcomers' need to stay in touch with their loved ones in Cuba.

And you, do you think the same?

What do you think?
