Young Cuban "escachalatas" chosen in Spain's Got Talent casting

The Cuban "shoulder-blade-cracker" is looking for funding to participate in Got Talent Spain and showcase his extraordinary strength with his shoulder blades.

The young Cuban Christian Manuel Castellano Rangel, better known as "el escachalatas," was chosen to participate in the television program Got Talent in Spain.

Since childhood, sports have been an essential part of Christian's life. During his adolescence, he discovered a unique talent: his incredible scapular strength.

"If I manage to get the necessary financing to attend this world-famous event, I will be able to showcase to the world the skills I was born with and also those that I have worked hard to develop. I believe that, once and for all, I will be able to transcend," he said in an interview with Escambray.

The talented young man recounted that it was in middle school, encouraged by his peers, when he first attempted to crush a beer can with his shoulder blades, after watching a video of a circus strongman.

He did it and amazed his friends and teachers. From that moment on, Christian dedicated himself to perfecting this skill, managing to crush 20 cans in one minute in his first official attempt to set a record in 2019.

Later, he increased his personal record to reach 84 cans in one minute, surpassing other international competitors in an attempt to win his Guinness World Records, but the victory was not made official due to technical issues with the measurement of the cans.

Recently, Christian contacted the producers of Got Talent Spain through Instagram. His impressive ability caught the attention of the casting directors, who extended an invitation for him to participate in the show.

The young Cuban athlete is getting ready to travel to Spain with the hope of showcasing his talent to the world and achieving his goals.

For his presentation on Got Talent, he is planning an even more spectacular act: he wants to move a car with his shoulder blades. In his training, he has already managed to move vehicles weighing up to a ton, demonstrating that his strength and determination know no bounds.

Christian Manuel Castellano Rangel not only aims to leave a mark on the show, but also to inspire others with his story of perseverance and effort. His participation in Got Talent Spain could showcase internationally the unique and extraordinary talent of this Cuban.
