Humor: "The Cuban saying 'I will cut off your water and electricity' is being taken very seriously."

The sad reality of Cubans through satire and humor.

A Cuban on TikTok has sparked reactions on the internet with his satire about the dramatic situation with electricity and water on the island.

With a touch of sarcasm, the user (@cubanitocrazy_) comments that the phrase "I'm going to cut off your water and electricity" is being taken "very seriously" in Cuba.

In the video, the young man urges not to interpret this expression literally: "It's a common phrase, you don't have to take it so personally, please put the water and turn on the light," he exclaims ironically.

The video has sparked a series of reactions among TikTok users, who comment with humor and resignation on the everyday nature of power outages in Cuba: "That's no longer a phrase, it's a daily habit"; "By my grandfather's flip-flops"; "That's no longer a phrase, it's Cuba's daily life"; "They are taking it literally," some said.

"Put it on," urged another briefly.

This type of content not only entertains but also ingeniously brings to light a persistent problem that affects the daily life of Cubans.
