Cuban actor Lieter Ledesma recalled on Instagram this Thursday his arrival in the United States, marking the nine-year anniversary of such an important day for him and his family.

In an emotional post, accompanied by a sweet photo of her daughter Pao, who was just a little girl back then, Lieter reflected on her experiences: "On a day like today, nine years ago, I arrived in the U.S. I left Pao, who was only a year old. My story is not special; it is just one among many that have departed from Cuba, filled with dreams in search of a worthy future for their loved ones. Today, I look back and thank God for all the good that has come my way. The best is yet to come..."

The message has sparked heartfelt reactions from his followers, who left comments filled with good wishes and admiration. "God is wonderful, and your sacrifice and that of your family have borne fruit. Glory to God!" expressed one; "Very nice memories. Happy day to you all," added another user; while someone else commented, "Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. God is in your hearts." Others simply filled the post with hearts and congratulatory words: "Many congratulations"; "God is good, everything is very moving."

This is not the first time, however, that the Cuban presenter has shared messages of gratitude on his social media. Last October, he celebrated three years since he was able to reunite with his wife, Laura, and his daughter, Pao, in the United States after years of separation and a long consular process. "It has been a beautiful journey of growth and overcoming challenges, filled with travels and joys dreamed of from afar," he wrote at the time, reflecting on the difficulties of the process and the fulfillment of having his family finally together.

Last year, upon reaching the eight-year mark of his arrival in the United States, Lieter also reflected on it, describing it as an event that changed his life forever.

Throughout this time, the actor has consistently expressed gratitude for the opportunities he has encountered in this new chapter of his life, from family reunification to the recent reunion with his mother, whom he described as "the missing piece to complete the family."

Today, Lieter celebrates not only the past but also the present and the future that he continues to build alongside his loved ones, with the same faith and gratitude that have accompanied him from day one.
