The authorities of Hialeah have recommended that, due to possible contamination issues resulting from the recent flooding, residents in certain areas should boil all water intended for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes.
One minute of boiling is enough to ensure the safety of the water.
The notice affects residents within the following boundaries:
North: West 116th Street (NW 170th Street).
Sur: West 84th Street (NW 138th Street).
This: SB I-75.
West: W 44 Avenue (NW 107th Avenue).

This preventive measure will remain in force until bacteriological tests confirm that the water is free of any type of contamination.
Authorities will notify residents when the alert is lifted.
