Gente de Zona sends words of encouragement to Don Omar after revealing he had cancer: "Brother, we are with you."

Among the many who have sent their support is Daddy Yankee.

The members of the Cuban duo Gente de Zona have expressed their solidarity with Don Omar after the announcement by the Puerto Rican reggaeton artist that he was suffering from cancer.

Through Instagram stories, both from the group and from the individual members, they shared messages of encouragement using the video of their encounter with Don Omar during the last edition of the Premios Lo Nuestro.

Dear brother, all our love and support in these moments. We know you are brave and that you will continue to carry your music high when the storm passes. Brother, we are with you. See you soon on stage @donomar. Your brothers from Gente de Zona love you", they told him.

"My brother, very sad about the news, but as you yourself have said, tomorrow will be another day and you will be better. Keep moving forward as you always have, because you are a warrior @donomar. See you soon on stage. A hug," added Alexander from his personal account in a message that Don Omar himself reposted on his stories. Randy, on the other hand, shared the message from his account.

Both messages are accompanied by a video showing the artists sharing an emotional moment of affection and complicity during the last Premios Lo Nuestro gala, which evidenced the friendship and mutual respect between them.

The news of Don Omar's cancer, revealed this Monday, has caused not only a tremendous impact but also a wave of supportive messages in the music community. Figures like Daddy Yankee have also shown their support: "Move forward, warrior," he said.

Known for international hits such as "Danza Kuduro," "Pobre Diabla," "Dile," among many others, Don Omar continues to be an influential figure in urban music, and both his colleagues and fans are hoping to see him overcome this challenge and come back strong to the stages.
