Randy Malcom Martínez is a Cuban percussionist, composer, singer, and music producer best known as a member of the musical group Gente de Zona since 2013, alongside its founder Alexander Delgado. He was born on January 22, 1983, in Guanabacoa, Cuba.

From a very humble and large family, Randy knew from a young age that music was his passion and that it would be his way to support his family. He has expressed his gratitude towards his father for the persistence and high standards he upheld regarding his studies. He graduated from the Alejandro García Caturla Conservatory and later from the ENA.

He was a part of popular Cuban groups such as Carlos Manuel y Su Clan and La Charanga Habanera, where he remained as a singer for more than a decade.

In March 2013, the trio Gente de Zona, consisting of Alexander Delgado, Jacob Forever (Yosdani Jacob Carmenates), and Nando Pro (Fernando Lázaro Otero Van-Caneghem), disbanded, and Alexander Delgado joined Randy Malcom.

Randy resides in Miami with his fiancée, the young Cuban Annaby Pozo, with whom he has a son born in 2015.
