Randy Malcom Martínez is a Cuban percussionist, composer, singer, and music producer, best known for being a member of the musical group Gente de Zona since 2013, alongside its founder, Alexander Delgado. He was born on January 22, 1983, in Guanabacoa, Cuba.

Coming from a large and humble family, Randy knew from a young age that music was his passion and would be the way to support his family. He has expressed his gratitude towards his father for the dedication and high standards he maintained regarding his studies. He graduated from the Alejandro García Caturla Conservatory and later from the ENA.

He was part of popular Cuban groups such as Carlos Manuel y Su Clan and La Charanga Habanera, where he remained as a singer for over a decade.

In March 2013, the trio Gente de Zona, which included members Alexander Delgado, Jacob Forever (Yosdani Jacob Carmenates), and Nando Pro (Fernando Lázaro Otero Van-Caneghem), disbanded, and Alexander Delgado joined forces with Randy Malcom.

Randy lives in Miami with his fiancée, the young Cuban Annaby Pozo, with whom he has a son born in 2015.
