Randy Malcom Martínez is a percussionist, composer, singer, and Cuban music producer best known for being a member of the musical group Gente de Zona since 2013, alongside its founder Alexander Delgado. He was born on January 22, 1983, in Guanabacoa, Cuba.
From a very humble and large family, Randy knew from a young age that music was his passion and that it would be the way to support his family. He is a graduate of the Alejandro García Caturla Conservatory and later attended the ENA.
He was part of popular Cuban groups such as Carlos Manuel y Su Clan and La Charanga Habanera, where he remained as a singer for more than a decade.
In March 2013, the trio Gente de Zona, which included members Alexander Delgado, Jacob Forever (Yosdani Jacob Carmenates), and Nando Pro (Fernando Lázaro Otero Van-Caneghem), split up, and Alexander Delgado joined Randy Malcom.
Randy resides in Miami with his fiancée, the young Cuban Annaby Pozo, with whom he has a son born in 2015.
