The famous Cuban comedian Geonel Martín, known for his character "Gustavito," has acquired U.S. citizenship after more than a decade of living in Miami. The news was announced by host Carlos Otero on Facebook.

In the post, the comedian is seen celebrating his new status with an image holding the flag of the United States and his citizenship certificate, next to a replica of the Statue of Liberty.
