The announcement of a concert by urban singer Bebeshito in the province of Camagüey, where reserving a table costs between 40,000 and 100,000 pesos, has sparked outrage among social media users, who are questioning the high price and the accessibility of the event for most of the population.

A person named Yanizorro De la Vega on Facebook pointed out that 100,000 pesos, at an exchange rate of 350 pesos per dollar, according to the informal market, would amount to about 285 dollars for the aforementioned VIP table at Bebeshito's concert.

"The same price as a top-tier Adele concert," the person pointed out, recalling that the famous English singer, despite having won over 57 international awards, also offers tickets for 75 euros.

Chiringuito's Pizzas, a Facebook page, announced that the concert will take place on July fifth, and explained that four types of tables will be offered.

The first one, with the most scandalous price of 100,000 pesos, includes a bottle of Johnnie Walker and an energy drink; the rest only entitle you to "table service," and reservations cost 80,000, 60,000, and 40,000 pesos respectively.

Chiringuito's Pizzas emphasized: "All tables are for 4 people. All tables include the appetizer," and promoted the concert, which will be taking place exclusively at their venue.

In a previous post, you specified that the price of the tickets (not reservation of the tables) is 3,000 pesos, indicating that minors can attend the concert, which will take place at 11:30 pm, in the company of adults.

The outrageous prices have sparked numerous reactions among internet users, most agreeing that it is totally crazy for an artist to charge such a high amount in a country where most people don't even have enough to eat decently.

"I have come to the conclusion that with my salary, I have to save for a whole year to 'enjoy' a 'fascinating' concert by the 'very famous' Bebeshito, goodness, anyone who attends that concert afterwards won't even have enough to buy bread at the store," pointed out a person named Merlyn Olga Durán Ávila.

On her part, Marielis Cuadrado Valverde expressed: "They are laughing at all of us. Even though it's not mandatory because it's something to enjoy, not a necessity, it's disrespectful. We need to be careful with the people who truly want to go, they will surely do everything possible and impossible to have the money to even enter."

"Marca Mandarina and mango are expensive," said Yisselle Mederos.

Lesther Jiménez reflected: "It is true that this is unique and good, everyone can set the price they want, but we must consider that artists belong to their people, because without the support of the masses, they can't even reach the corner here. I think we have a lot to reflect on."

Bebeshito is currently one of the most popular urban music artists.

Recently, the hit "Marca Mandarina," which he shares with El Taiger, surpassed 12 million views on YouTube, becoming one of the most popular songs of 2024.

In recent days, amid the playoff between Las Avispas, from Santiago de Cuba, and the Industriales team, the famous song echoed in the Guillermón Moncada stadium.
