A Cuban woman is shot dead in Alabama.

The detectives arrested the suspect identified as Johnny Sears, a 44-year-old resident of that territory and allegedly the perpetrator of the crime on Wednesday, July 3rd.

The Birmingham Police Department in Alabama, United States, reported this Saturday the arrest of a man for the shooting murder of Cuban Dianisleidy Rodríguez Hernández.

According to information shared on the social network Facebook, detectives arrested the suspect identified as Johnny Sears, a 44-year-old resident of that area, allegedly responsible for the crime that occurred on Wednesday, July 3rd in the 4200 block of 5th Avenue South.

The authorities obtained an arrest warrant against Sears and presented the case information to the district attorney's office of Jefferson County.

Johnny Sears is currently in custody at Jefferson County Jail, with no right to bail, while friends of the murdered person are trying to raise funds for the funeral expenses.

To fulfill this purpose, they created an account on Gofundme with the goal of reaching $15,000. Up to now, and after the first 24 hours, they have raised $1,660. The murdered woman left behind an 11-year-old daughter.

Less than a week ago, a 42-year-old Cuban woman was stabbed to death by her former partner in the city of Irving, in Dallas County, Texas, according to the local Police Department.

The victim was identified as Sucel Gómez. Her aggressor, 44 years old, is named Yunier Aldazábal and was left in police custody.

Last April, just nine months after arriving in the United States, Cuban Yessenia Rodríguez Márquez had her life taken away, and the main suspect in the crime turned out to be the victim's boyfriend, identified as Alexander Roque.
