A young Cuban woman posted a heartbreaking message on a Facebook group on Wednesday morning, seeking help, as she indicated that her husband passed away in the early morning and she is still waiting for a Legal Medicine vehicle to come for the body removal.

"I did not want to speak out through any means given the great pain I feel, but the things happening in Cuba are outrageous. My husband passed away at 1:45 in the morning and it is 10:25 and we are still waiting for a forensic medicine vehicle because there isn't one," explained Nathalia González in the Facebook group "Managua, Frank País y Las Guásimas".

The young woman added that she went to the Maulines funeral home, located in the Arroyo Naranjo municipality, and that they "are the same."

Nathalia stated that her husband's body "is oozing," and that there has been no response to the efforts that have been made. She also added that the Operational Guard was notified and they arrived at 6 in the morning.

For God's sake, if anyone has a phone number for an office where this situation can be resolved, please pass it on to me. I am asking this as a desperate wife and a devastated mother," concluded the young woman, who is the mother of a young child, the son of the deceased man.

In the comments section of the post, dozens of Internet users reacted with a mix of indignation and sadness to the denunciation, and several described it as a "lack of respect" that peace cannot be found even in death in Cuba.

It is a recurring conclusion in light of several similar situations reported in recent months, one of the most recent and striking being the lack of a hearse to transport the deceased actor Carlos Massola, a vehicle that in this case the family waited for over seven hours.

Regarding the cause of the death of Nathalia's young husband, identified as Dariel Peña, several sources have confirmed that it was a motorcycle accident.

An Internet user shared with the desperate young woman the phone number of a transportation base, and other commentators agreed that the recommendation that will yield the best results is to offer a bribe, which is the only way everything is resolved in Cuba.

“When you talk about paying, everything suddenly appears,” concluded a commentator.

There were also those who referred to other recent similar cases or even someone who recounted that this was already happening seven years ago.

"It is very sad. Seven years ago, I lost my father and had to have his wake at home. The hearse arrived at 9 p.m. and he had passed away at 6 a.m.," described an internet user.

At the time of writing this note, there is no update on the lamentable case in the original publication made three hours ago.
