Nancy Pelosi suggests to Biden to reconsider whether he should continue in the race for reelection.

The former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, suggested to President Joe Biden that he reconsider his decision to remain in the reelection race.

"It is up to the president to decide whether he will run for office. We are all encouraging him to make that decision because time is of the essence," he said on the program Morning Joe, of the MSNBC network.

Pelosi, who is 84 years old, three more than Biden, emphasized that she would support him "regardless of what he decides."

He also revealed that he asked Democratic congressmen to halt discussions on the political future of their leader until the conclusion of the NATO summit, which is being held in Washington until Thursday. That day will mark his first press conference since his embarrassing performance in the debate with Donald Trump.

Pelosi, who enjoys great respect within the Party, believes that it would be "essential" for Biden to grant "not one, maybe two" impromptu interviews to journalists to demonstrate his abilities without a teleprompter. "That would be great for him," she emphasized.

The California legislator stated that it is legitimate for people to have doubts about the president's health, but she suggested that they should be asking the same about his rival Donald Trump.

"I think it is legitimate to wonder if this is an episode or a condition. When people ask that question, it is completely legitimate, about both candidates," he stated.

Nevertheless, he stated that in Congress, Biden "is loved, respected," and that politicians want him to make a decision.
