This Sunday, hours after it was known that former U.S. President Donald Trump was well following the attack suffered on Saturday afternoon at a rally in Pennsylvania, a caravan of supporters of the tycoon and politician departed from Hialeah to Mar-a-Lago, his official residence.

The journalist from Telemundo 51, Alexis Boentes, reported this, who shared photos of the caravan on his Facebook profile, where American flags and banners in support of Trump predominate.

A video shared by the Mexican media outlet Milenio shows several people dressed in T-shirts with the face of the former president and other references to Trump.

The former president and aspirant for the official nomination by the Republican Party for the electoral candidacy was injured during a rally in Pennsylvania, after shots were heard at the event.

Trump was quickly removed from the stage where the presidential candidate's last intervention was taking place before the Republican Convention, which will take place between Monday, July 15, and Thursday, July 18, 2024, in Milwaukee.

Hours later, Trump himself confirmed that he had been hit by a bullet in his right ear.

In another message on his social network, Truth Social announced that he will address the nation this week from Wisconsin.

"Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers from yesterday, as only God prevented the unthinkable from happening. We will not fear, but instead remain steadfast in our faith and defiant in the face of evil," he expressed.

The assassination attempt on Trump has raised doubts about the alleged inviolability that should characterize the protection system of a figure of his stature.

The attacker was identified as a 20-year-old young man named Thomas Matthew Crooks, who fired from the roof of a building located about 140 meters from the stage where Trump was speaking. After being shot by Secret Service agents, a semiautomatic AR-15 rifle was found near his body.
