Cuban in the United States: "In Miami, there is no work, peace, tranquility, money, or anything."

Cuban woman defends buying a house outside Miami: "I would have loved to have a house in the city, but it's not worth paying so much."

A Cuban woman in the United States responded forcefully to a comment on TikTok suggesting that those who do not have enough money to buy houses in Miami resort to saying that the city is bad to live in.

"Everyone who doesn't have money to buy a house in Miami gives the same story," the comment said. A message to which Yaima Sanches (@yaimacejas1) responded, making her point of view clear.

What makes you think that if I bought this here, I don't have enough to buy in Miami? Do you know how much I paid? Twenty thousand dollars, more or less what they ask for in Miami. If I gave twenty, I could have gotten five or ten thousand more. But the fact is that it is not the same to pay seven hundred thousand dollars for half of this house in Miami, than for four hundred or three hundred that this one cost me. It's true that I'm in the middle of nowhere, but I don't want you as a neighbor," said the Cuban woman, thus explaining that the high prices were what drove her to buy a house outside of Miami.

Furthermore, he adds with irony: "This isn't Cuba, but then where did you come from? This is a smart purchase. In Miami, what abounds is snitching, it looks like a CDR in there. I'll stick with this house rather than a cramped hovel in Miami."

"I would have loved to have a house in Miami but it's not worth paying so much for an old house. And yes, it's true that Miami is strange, but there is peace here. That smell of the countryside, that smell of Cuba, because we are Cuba. But Miami is becoming impossible to live in. The rudeness that exists there. Besides, in Miami there is no work, no peace, no tranquility, no money, nothing, and there are only nosy people like you," said the Cuban in this video that went viral and received reactions from hundreds of Cubans who agree with what she's saying.

In social media, especially on TikTok, there is a heated debate about whether it is better to live in Miami or outside the city of Florida, or even in other states.

What do you think?
