The house of four siblings burned down in Santiago de Cuba.

There were no injuries in the accident.


The home of four siblings in Santiago de Cuba was completely destroyed after a devastating fire occurred on Wednesday night.

The incident occurred around 10:40 pm on Wednesday, at the home of the Castellano Salar siblings (Mariela, Maritza, Jesús, and Armando, the latter residing in Ciudad Habana), as reported on Facebook by the Ministry of Public Health official Aris Arias Batalla.

According to neighbors, the fire originated inside the home located at Calvario # 905, between Santa Rosa and Princesa, Santiago de Cuba, and did not cause any injuries or fatalities, as at the time of the fire, there was no one in the house.

Images posted on Facebook by the Public Health official Aris Arias Batalla show that the fire caused major material damage in three of the rooms, whose roof was completely consumed by the flames.

The mattresses and furniture were completely burnt.

In the front part of the house, where the living room was located, the roof shared with the neighboring house also suffered damages.

The neighbors forced the door when they did not detect electrical flow in the residence and called the authorities, who are investigating the causes of the fire.
