They reveal video of the moment a crane collapsed on a bridge in Fort Lauderdale.

In the video, you can hear the deceased construction worker's colleagues recounting how he fell and died. And you can see a young woman crying and bleeding, unable to hold her head up due to a head injury.

A video has surfaced showing what happened on April 4th in downtown Fort Lauderdale, when a crane suddenly collapsed onto the Southeast Third Avenue bridge, while numerous vehicles were passing by.

In the incident, in which a 27-year-old construction worker who was at the top of a building lost his life after falling to the ground, several cars were hit and their drivers are still trying to recover from the injuries.

The video, recorded by a body camera, shows how the crane fell on a car. Seconds later, its driver, named Carol Zinser, got out of the car on her own feet.

The recording also shows the officers' initial response to the incident, still unaware of what had happened.

A Hispanic woman, named Gemmalyn Castillo, who was sitting in the back seat of the Tesla that was first hit by the structure, is also seen.

The young woman was crying and bleeding, unable to hold her head up due to a serious injury she suffered in her head which, according to her lawyers, will have consequences for the rest of her life.

"Although she wants to return to work, she has been diagnosed with brain damage and spinal cord damage, so it is not good," said lawyer Brett Rosen.

In the video, you can hear Jorge de La Torre's co-workers, the deceased construction worker, telling the police how he fell and died when the crane gave way.

According to Local 10 News, the victims and their families have filed lawsuits against the construction companies that were working at that time.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is investigating the cause of the crane's fall.
