Cuban woman finds lost cell phone and publishes a photo of its owners to return it.

"We don't want anything, that is yours," the woman clarified, referring to not asking for any reward. "I return it because it doesn't belong to me."

A Cuban woman found a cellphone on the street that had been lost by its owners and posted a photograph on her Facebook wall to locate them and return the phone.

Mayelin Lores Carmenate, a mother residing in Santiago de Cuba, requested that if anyone knew the young couple featured in the wallpaper of her cell phone, they should contact her through her Facebook profile.

"I just want it to be them," he said.

Mayelin found the phone in the vicinity of the Alameda.

The case was shared on Facebook by independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada, who praised the woman's honesty, showing that there are many people with good hearts.

"We don't want anything, that is yours," Mayelin clarified, referring to the fact that she was not asking for any reward. "I return it because it is not mine," she emphasized.

Finally, the owner of the mobile phone recovered it and publicly thanked the attitude of her compatriot. The young woman is named Malena Zamalea and is pregnant.

"This is for the girl who returned my phone. Thank you very much for your action, I will be grateful to you for all my life, I don't know how to repay you. Thank you very much," she wrote on Mayeta Labrada's Facebook.

"In these times, where a mobile device exceeds 35,000 Cuban pesos and a 'gadget' costs 15,000 pesos, a gesture like this is worthy of good recognition," noted the reporter.
