Alejandro Cuervo grew up in a family where unconditional love among its members always prevailed. Seeing the affection between his grandmother and his father is the perfect example to replicate in his relationship with his children.
The Cuban actor shared a moving video on his Instagram in which he shows how his dad, who has been suffering from multiple sclerosis for 30 years, does not give up on his effort to visit his mom Edelmira, even though he knows that she cannot go up the stairs nor can he go down them.
"The story of Romeo and Julieta in San Luis Pinar del Río of my father and my grandmother, my dad cannot go up due to his illness, and my grandmother cannot come down because of her age and how delicate she is. I love them," the artist explained alongside his video.
In the images, Alejandro shows how his grandmother talks to his son from the balcony and he responds from a car on the street, a clear example that there are no barriers when it comes to love.
Alejandro's grandmother, very old now, assures him that she will stand until God wills it, and his grandson gives her a kiss on the forehead, only asking that it be for many more years.
This week Alejandro also shared photos of his children Bastian and little Aston while they were enjoying time with their paternal grandparents.
