The renowned Cuban journalist and reporter Daisy Ballmajó shared a photo on her social media of her meeting with the legendary Spanish artist Paloma San Basilio.

In a recent Instagram post, the Telemundo51 news anchor expressed her deep admiration for San Basilio, highlighting both his talent and his humility and greatness.

"Just like the small things, like the most delicate details, I will keep this meeting and conversation in my most affectionate memory. Not every day do you have the privilege of conversing with someone as spectacular as Paloma San Basilio. An artist full of soul, humility, and greatness. Her music, her books, her paintings, her ideas. Between the beauty and delicacy of the flowers, we talked about all of this and her farewell tour 'Gracias,' whose concert in Miami is on Friday, October 25, at the James L. Knight Center. She has sold 16 million records throughout her career.

His legacy includes more than 20 studio albums and multiple awards, including the Latin Grammy for Musical Excellence.
