The passionate animal protector Yenney Caballero requested help last Friday to raise the 18,000 pesos needed to operate on a puppy named Simba, who has a bone fracture, aiming for the animal to be able to walk normally again.
Caballero explained on Facebook that the puppy, picked up from the street, "has a transverse fracture of the femur with an osteosynthesis system; it needs a plate with screws or external skeletal fixation."
"We have this wonderful mission to ensure that this doll can walk again without any issues and that its pain is alleviated through this surgery," said the animal rights activist, encouraging her team to support the scheduled surgical intervention for this Monday afternoon.
Caballero, who has repeatedly shown his unconditional love for animals, urged the community to refrain from making negative comments, as these could harm the dog that needs the surgery.
He emphasized that what is important is to perform the surgery so that Simba can recover.
In addition, he encouraged people to contribute in various ways: by sharing the post, donating, or offering words of support. "On this page, we save lives; we are a light for many animals in need," he added, highlighting their mission and the importance of solidarity in these times.
Lastly, they provided the card number in CUP for transfers: 9238129976677130, and requested that the donation be confirmed by calling the phone number 53969647.
Recently, the activist also rallied the community of Cuban animal defenders to provide financial support for the operation of another puppy that suffered a broken bone after falling from a ladder.
Caballero requested assistance to raise the 16,500 pesos needed to operate on the dog, who suffered a radial and ulnar fracture.
