An emotional reunion took place this Monday between the dog Kiara and her owners in Spain, after waiting five years to be reunited and finally leave behind a long separation.
The beautiful moment when Kiara sees her owners was shared on TikTok by the pet transportation business Pet Cuba Travel (@petcubatravel): “After so many years, Kiara never forgot them, and her wagging tail only shows the immense joy she felt in reuniting with them.”
"After five years and 24 hours of flight, I finally get to reunite with my little one," posted the venture, citing one of its owners.
"As soon as she heard us, she didn't hesitate to run towards us, wagging her little tail in happiness," they noted in an emotional message accompanying the exact moment when Kiara, amid the crowd, spotted her owners.
"We never left her behind; she is the joy of our hearts," they noted. "And after much effort, we managed to reunite."
When emigrating, some people leave their pets in Cuba, often in the care of guardians or new owners. However, in less fortunate situations, the animals end up being abandoned.
However, many Cubans who escape from the island make tremendous efforts to reunite with their pets.
This was the case of the emotional reunion between a young Cuban and his dog in Miami, which went viral on social media and touched many people who watched the video.
Dante is a white Labrador who had to stay in Cuba when his owner emigrated to Miami, in the United States.
However, its owner never forgot it; he fought to retrieve it and bring it to its new home in Florida.
