Two years later, a Cuban returns in his truck to the bridge where he was detained while trying to reach the United States: "God's timing is perfect."

A Cuban shares on TikTok the moving story of how he was detained while trying to cross into the United States and his recent return by truck over the same bridge.

Almost two years ago, a Cuban and his group of friends were detained by the U.S. Border Patrol while trying to swim to the United States from Cuba. A story with a happy ending, as this young man is currently living in Miami and driving his truck almost at the same spot where they intercepted him.

"Almost 2 years ago, American border guards caught me swimming with a group of friends 300 meters from this same bridge. Unfortunately, we couldn't reach this country," said @yunito1997 in a TikTok video. These words reflect the frustration and disappointment of those moments, where the hope of reaching U.S. soil was cut short by the intervention of the authorities.

However, finally, two years later he finds himself in the United States and is now crossing the bridge in his truck. "Today, after so much time, I drive over it in my truck. God's timing is perfect," he recounts with emotion.

The post on TikTok has generated supportive comments. A message that reflects one of the many stories of Cubans seeking to start a new life beyond the borders of Cuba.
