Another post states that the young man is of average height and thin, and when he left his house, he was wearing a blue and gray striped sweater, blue jeans, sneakers, and a white bag.

The mother of the young man, who is desperate, tried to contact him since Monday, but her son's cell phone is turned off.

"He has been missing since yesterday, Monday, July 22, in Central Havana, he left for work and never arrived, and it's been hours since his mobile phone was turned off and there is no news of him, he is not accustomed to doing this," the post states.

Reports of Cuban disappearances have been increasing in frequency in recent months, as well as the publication of requests for help on social media to obtain information.

This is set against a backdrop of growing violence and crime in the country, which has been acknowledged by the regime itself.
