This Wednesday marks seven months and 10 days since the disappearance of the young Cuban Karildi Caridad Marín in Havana.

His brother Yoandri Marin, who during this time has shared messages with the girl's photo on the Internet to keep the case from being forgotten, posted a new message.

"There is a sense of feeling and humanity that they can't take away from me, no matter what, and that is the love for my sister. And look, time goes by and nothing changes, there is no reason regarding her whereabouts or what might have happened," he said on Facebook.

"I just hope to hear from my sister Karildi when everyone gives up. We, your family, will continue to be vigilant. Cuba belongs to everyone and I belong to my family," she stated.

Karildi Marín, 24 years old, resides in Párraga, in the Arroyo Naranjo municipality, Havana. She disappeared on the night of December 14 when she went to a party in Cerro, and since then no one has heard from her.

His brother has expressed his frustration several times, but he has always reaffirmed his decision to continue the search.

"It cannot be possible that my sister has been missing for almost six months and until now we have not made any progress that leads us to a clear answer about her disappearance. Time passes but the pain remains the same, and I believe it increases every day, as the uncertainty is very painful," she said in June.

"Your family will continue to search until they find you, for between heaven and earth nothing can be hidden..." he added.

On Mother's Day, the girl's father dedicated a message on Facebook with several photos of her in her role as a mom, including one from when she was pregnant shortly before giving birth, and others with her little girl.

"A path of blessings for my granddaughter and her mom," wrote Tomás Marín, before accusing the officials linked to the case of doing nothing. "I am sure that if it were the daughter of any of them, she would have already appeared."

Yoandri has also reported the inefficiency of the authorities.

"Those who are supposed to ensure public peace are not doing their job properly (...). There are no signs of it, why, if clues have already been provided, is there still no suspect appearing?" he questioned in April.
