Cuban in Italy reveals what she spends a month living in the south of the country: "I can't even take my kids on vacation."

A Cuban in Italy reveals her monthly cost of living in southern Italy.

A Cuban residing in southern Italy has shared a video on TikTok on her profile called @prospera000, in which she provides details about her monthly expenses and cost of living in the region.

She lives with her son in a rented apartment with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and two smaller rooms, for which she pays 550 euros a month.

In addition to rent, the Cuban must cover the costs of electricity, gas, and food, which alone amount to approximately 600 extra euros in food, raising her total monthly expenses to 1,350 euros.

In comparison, the minimum wage in southern Italy ranges from 1000 to 1400 euros, leaving little room for savings or recreational activities. In her testimony, the woman laments not being able to take her children on vacation due to the high cost of living.

"Not even on vacation can I take my children. I just tell anyone who is thinking of coming to live in Italy to reconsider," the young woman expressed.

This account highlights the financial challenges faced by many immigrants in Europe, especially in regions where income may be insufficient to cover basic expenses.
