Stunning images show how destroyed both vehicles were.

This is how the second vehicle involved in the accident ended up, a blue '57 Ford (Facebook/Accidentes Buses & Camiones).

"I just saw this before arriving in Quesada, Ciego de Ávila province. A person present at the scene told me that there are no fatalities. I don't know more details; I only know that there was one car," wrote internet user Yandy Seoane initially in the Facebook group Accidents Buses & Trucks, along with several photos of the wrecked truck.

In the comments section of the post, witnesses revealed that it was a head-on collision between a truck and an almendrón and shared photos of the blue Ford that was completely wrecked.

An internet user identified as Damil Leonard indicated that "there are patients with head trauma," and that among the injured is a five-month-old baby.

"In that car were my neighbors. Thank God they are all fine, but the people in the other vehicle are not. We need to be careful on the road," noted another commentator.

Not a few called for stricter measures for the drivers of Mipymes vehicles because "they're always driving recklessly and stepping on the gas."

"Those companions in that truck had left for lunch about 30 minutes ago from my workplace; the road is not easy," pointed out Yamir Diaz Castellón in reference to the occupants of the truck.

As of the closing of this note, there are no other details about the serious accident, which adds to a growing list of incidents in recent weeks, many of them with fatalities.
