A woman has suffered burns to her face, arms, hands, and chest supposedly in a home accident that occurred two days ago in Alquízar. Sources close to the victim claim that the young woman "went to light a cigarette and the gasoline mixture caused the lighter to ignite and it exploded immediately."

However, there are suspicions in the neighborhood that it was an attempted femicide, as user Niover Licea posted on Instagram, because even though they were both home alone, she was the only one who was injured. Those in the young woman's closest circle deny this, asserting that at the moment of the explosion, "he was attending to a person who had called from outside."

But this version does not convince those who claim that the young woman's husband has a history of gender-based violence and a violent profile. To dispel doubts, he has shared a couple of posts on Facebook, attesting to his love for his wife; stating that he would like to switch places with her and asking his neighbors to pray for her wounds to heal quickly.

The fact is that the young woman suffers burns on the upper part of her body and needs bandages, nitrofurazone, triple antibiotic, paracetamol, and Duralginas. She is now at her husband's house, Nolberto Enamorado, in Finca La Terita, in Alquízar.

In a message shared yesterday on Facebook, Nolberto Enamorado, the victim's husband, thanked the medical staff who attended to her at the Alquízar polyclinic.

Twenty-four hours later, as rumors of femicide have escalated, Nolberto Enamorado has published another post on Facebook asking for the insinuations to stop.

Other consulted neighbors do not dare to assert that it was an attempted femicide because they say that only he and she know that. While he identifies himself as a wolf on Facebook, she shares quotes from Paulo Coelho: "You do not harm those you love. I hope one day they understand that."
