Díaz-Canel calls Nicolás Maduro's opponents "turning guarimberos."

On Monday, Nicolás Maduro assured that he won the elections in Venezuela. This has sparked a wave of strong criticism in the international community and within the country due to suspicions of electoral fraud.

The Cuban ruler Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez said that the opponents of Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela are "temporary rioters" and enemies of Our America.

"Cuba Denounces: Those who cried fraud before the elections; those who disqualify Nicolás Maduro's victory without arguments; the coup plotters and the current rioters are on the side of those who hate and destroy, the enemies of Venezuela and Our America," expressed Díaz-Canel.

He published his message on the social network X. He has received thousands of interactions and numerous responses, with some people accusing him of being a " dictator who supports another dictator."

Cuban activist Félix Llerena reminded Díaz-Canel that "just like in Venezuela, free and democratic elections have not occurred in Cuba either" and warned him that the Communist Party "is not, and cannot be recognized as the representative of the Cuban people."

Venezuelan opponents claim to have evidence that the electoral process held on July 28 was rigged with technological support from the Cuban regime to keep Nicolás Maduro in power.

"We have ways to prove the truth of what happened at the polls. The difference was overwhelming, we won in all states," said opposition leader María Corina Machado this Monday.

The count that the opposition has, which they promise to validate, reflects a vote of 2,759,256 in favor of Nicolás Maduro against 6,275,182 supports in the ballots for the candidate Edmundo González Urrutia.

On that same day, Díaz-Canel confirmed Cuba's support for Maduro and accused the opposition movement of wanting to establish a fascist government in Caracas.

"We reaffirm our strong support for our brother Nicolás Maduro and the Bolivarian and Chavista people, in the face of the campaign of harassment and political and media manipulation that seeks to repeat failed attempts to impose a fascist government in Venezuela," Díaz-Canel assured.
