Cuban in the USA reflects on friendships: "No one enters your rent, friendships are for the outside and set boundaries."

Cuban on TikTok shares advice about friendships and the importance of setting boundaries to protect your personal well-being.

A Cuban resident in the United States reflected on friendships and the importance of setting personal boundaries in a video that went viral on TikTok.

In the video, Suliet (the name of this user who identifies as @suliet0107) openly shared her thoughts:

"I don't mean to say that true friendships don't exist, just that out of fifty, one or two. So, to your temple, no one enters your rent, friendships are for outside, and set a limit for yourself. Do you know why? Because many friendships break the relationship because it's over beer, so when you lose your mind and become a drunk or a drug addict begging on the street and you don't have a peso even for water, everyone turns their back on you."

The Cuban continued to emphasize the importance of taking care of personal relationships and individual well-being:

"So, even if you are independent and you pursue your own, and your partner gives you your share and helps you, take care of them. And if you are dependent, take care of them even more."

The video has generated a wide variety of reactions among TikTok users, with many praising the sincerity of its words. "My friend is my mom and what I have crowned," "My home is my temple where I only seek peace, I don't want anyone in my house," "That's definitely true, I don't want to know about anyone," "That's exactly it. In these last few years, I have even lost family because the snakes come from where we least imagine," or "How we learn outside of Cuba about all that," are some of the comments being read.
