Cuban 86-year-old newly arrived in the United States: "The difference in life is total"

After sharing the emotional welcome to her mother in the United States on social media, the Cuban Yanelis Blondin posted a new video on her TikTok account where the 86-year-old lady shares her first impressions.

With impressive lucidity and clarity, her mom recounts how she experienced her first long flight and the differences she had noticed in the 12 hours she had been on U.S. soil.

"This mess covering her eyes and I said, but girl, what’s wrong with you? 'Oh, the turbulence,' that’s nothing to worry about, what’s wrong with you?" she commented about a conversation she had with another scared passenger during the flight.

"I had never flown on a plane like that, how can I put it, that long route. The island is just there, get up and go. I wasn't afraid, not at all, not at all," she confessed in a video that has evoked tenderness not only because of the lady's eloquence but also due to her daughter's happiness at being reunited with her.

When asked by her daughter about the difference she perceives compared to the island, she did not hesitate to respond that it is a lot.

"The difference in life is total," adds the lady in response to her daughter's warning that she actually hasn't seen anything yet.

"That's why when people come, even though they struggle at first, they don't want to leave afterwards because over there, everything is a struggle, everything," stated the octogenarian Cuban in the video that has provoked the most affectionate comments and beautiful wishes.
