A Cuban resident in the United States shared on TikTok his frustration at not being understood due to his accent when speaking English.

A Cuban residing in the United States shared a video on TikTok, on his profile @torresguampy, where he expresses his frustration at not being understood due to his accent when speaking English.

In the video, the man is making a purchase at a McDonald’s when he humorously and resignedly comments that no one understands him when he speaks in English.

"I no longer know what I'm going to do with my life," he commented, referring to the difficulty of being understood. "Here in this country, I don't know what I'm going to do with my life, whether to speak in English, Russian, Haitian, German, it's crazy here," he added.

Maintaining his sense of humor, the young man jokingly told the shop assistant to justify his difficulty speaking English: "I have Spanish blood, but my parents are Haitian and my late grandmother was Russian, so it's a mix of what I have in my blood," he joked.

What do you think?
