Cubans prepare music video in tribute to young man killed in the Mantilla neighborhood, Havana.

"Who is going to return it to me, who is going to return it to me?, you were a good son, a brother, a friend and that, who is going to understand it?", says the excerpt from the song shared.

Friends and neighbors of "El Guaji," the 19-year-old from the Mantilla neighborhood in Havana, who was murdered this week, are preparing a video clip in tribute to the deceased.

"Who is going to give it back to me, who is going to give it back to me? You were a good son, a brother, a friend, and that, who is going to understand it?" says the fragment of the song shared in the Facebook group "Somos Mantilla."

In the short clip, several young people can be seen walking down a street in the neighborhood, carrying a floral arrangement.

“El Guaji” died from a knife attack under unclear circumstances. The young man was very well-liked and widely known in his neighborhood.

"Defending a friend. He was stabbed in the heart and died," indicated an internet user in response to the persistent questions from many users about what led to such a regrettable event.

Another commentator specified that it happened "on the beach," while a third pointed out that "he was neither a show-off nor from that scene."

The young man, who lived on Mendoza Street in the aforementioned neighborhood of Arroyo Naranjo, was raised by his grandmother since his mother passed away when he was small, as several people who knew him pointed out.

Last Wednesday, neighbors in the area improvised an emotional altar to remember him.

Those present decorated the place in keeping with the occasion and played music to remember the young man. In addition to a photo of him, they placed flowers and personal items that served to bid farewell to the deceased.
