A suspected criminal was arrested while attempting to rob a warehouse in Havana.

The Cuban police arrested an alleged criminal while attempting to rob a store in Havana.

The incident occurred last Thursday in the Pocitos-Palmar popular council of the Marianao municipality.

According to a report on Facebook by the user "El Cubano Fiel," the thief was caught in the act by the store's security guard. When surprised, he pulled out a knife and threatened him, but he did not manage to injure him.

"He tried to flee, an action that was thwarted by a police patrol car that arrived at that moment, thanks to a call made to 106 by the public," the note specifies.

The post shared a photograph of the wrongdoer, a young boy, but did not disclose his name or other information.

He was transferred to the Sixth Unit of the Police, in the locality.
