Trump suggested that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau could be the son of Fidel Castro.

This conspiracy theory is based on several questionable points, such as the supposed physical resemblance between Trudeau and the Cuban dictator.

Former President Donald Trump revived a controversial conspiracy theory this week suggesting that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is the son of the late Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.

In a recent interview with the streamer Adin Ross, Trump reacted to a photo of Trudeau saying, "They say he is Fidel Castro's son, and he could be. In this world, anything is possible."

This conspiracy theory is based on several questionable points, such as the supposed physical resemblance between Trudeau and the Cuban dictator.

Supporters of the theory mention a highly publicized trip taken by Margaret Trudeau, Justin's mother, to Cuba in 1976, during the Cold War, when she met with Castro.

However, Justin Trudeau was born on December 25, 1971, more than four years before Margaret and her husband, then Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, visited the island.

The Government of Canada addressed these unfounded rumors six years ago and categorically denied them.

According to a report from the AP agency, Canadian officials clarified that Trudeau was born nine months after his parents got married, and that his birth occurred before Margaret's first trip to Cuba.

Furthermore, the Canadian government denied any father-son relationship between Trudeau and Castro in 2018, emphasizing that Cuba has never confirmed such a relationship.

The theory gained notoriety after Castro's death in 2016, when Trudeau praised the dictator as a "larger-than-life revolutionary," which fueled speculation about a possible relationship.

Although this theory has been discredited and denied by official sources, beliefs persist among some sectors.

Adin David Ross, known for his video game streams like NBA 2K and Grand Theft Auto V, has gained popularity for his collaborations with various celebrities.

However, this interview with Trump became their most-watched stream to date, reaching a peak of 583,000 simultaneous viewers.
